2022 Retreat Wrap Up

As we head into the final weeks of 2022, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude over the many blessings God has provided.

In November, Pastor Seth Price and the Cookeville FWB Church hosted our fall retreat. Over 165 teens and sponsors enjoyed their tremendous hospitality on the 12th and 13th. Youth Pastor Tanner Higgins and board member Mark (and Lauren) Apple all went above and beyond to provide an excellent venue for the Revive-themed retreat.

Pastor Noah Taylor provided the preaching and also conducted one of our breakout sessions for the students. We rejoice greatly at how God used his preaching in our lives.

Jeff Nichols from Child Evangelism Fellowship of Tennessee helped train the sponsors to evangelize and disciple children effectively. God moved powerfully as the altars were full each service, particularly on Saturday night. With the retreat more centrally located this year, it afforded an excellent opportunity for churches to participate without the extra expense of a hotel stay.

The board enjoyed saluting outgoing chairman and board member Phillip Morgan. We owe a debt of gratitude for his leadership over these years, particularly during the C-19 era. As we bid him farewell, we welcome new board members Greg Eaton, Ashley Lockert, and Adam Holloway.

Looking ahead to 2023, please save the dates for CTS competition/V3 Expo that will be held on the campus of Welch College on April 28-29, 2023. As always, thank you for allowing us to serve your churches and your families. Stay up to date at tncelink.com .
