NEW!! National Competition Update

 

 

The 2010 National Youth Conference was held July 18-21 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. With near-record attendance, nearly 4,000 students and sponsors gathered for worship, competition and projects through Reach That Guy.

 

This year's competitive activities included 887 entries and featured tight competition in just about every area. Tennessee was well represented as 42 competitors won or placed in their division.

 

 

Ken Akers, TN Christian Education Board said, "I was proud of all of the competitors from Tennessee, and across the nation for that matter. They worked hard, and it showed. Thanks to everyone who worked with them this year.

 

Two teens from Tennessee, Daniel and Elizabeth Snow, were honored for their competitive achievements by receiving a place on the 2011 Youth Evangelistic Team. The 13-member group will travel across the United States, partnering with Home Missions churches for outreach and nightly services. They will also lead worship at the 2011 National Youth Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.
